I’m good at what I do. If I’m not good, I learn and then get good.
I work with a wide range of clientele, from independent artists, to non-profit organizations, to small businesses, to corporations. With every project, I take pride not only in developing professional, cutting-edge designs, but also stretching the imaginations of my clients, their audience, and myself. I’m obsessively plugged into my computer (her name’s Fiona), and consider myself a student as much as a professional because I’m constantly exploring new realms of art, design, and technology.
With my background in design as well as community development, I work not only to make beautiful pieces of art, but also to create what will best captivate an audience, inspire personal investment, and express timelessness in today’s fast-paced world.

I learned web design as a college freshman, staying up late into the night dissecting code from my favorite websites and learning how to make them better. As a result, I spent my first couple of years creating HTML and CSS code from scratch. Although I now use Dreamweaver for most of my web projects, my expertise with raw coding has proven to be beneficial especially for troubleshooting sites and training my clients for maintenance.
Lately, I’ve been working a lot with WordPress, an open-source blogging platform that not only allows for my clients to easily maintain their websites without having to use code or editing programs, but also caters to all the social networking platforms that have been slowly consuming my life.
Here’s the gist of what I do:
• HTML & CSS coding
• WordPress setup & templating
• Javascript, PHP, MySQL Databases
• Flash & Actionscript
• PSD (Photoshop) and AI (Illustrator) conversion to web platforms
• Mobile web compatibility & custom mobile sites
• Social networking setup, layout, and syncing (Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn, Youtube, ReverbNation, Bebo, Bandcamp, Imeem, Sonicbids & more)
• Search engine optimization & analytics

Like web, I learned Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign by musing over every detail of the programs until they became a part of my being. And then I took classes from the beginning to make sure I didn’t miss anything. I gravitate towards clean, minimalistic design, but my recent interest in Surrealism has also inspired me to explore the opposite end of that spectrum. I’ve printed dozens of flyers, posters, and books, so I’m great not only at making projects look great on screen, but also when they come out of the shop.

I know this is going to sound like a bad excuse for a resumé pointer, but for the past 4 years I lived with a stylist. And even though that doesn’t endow me with a world of experience, it does mean that I’ve spent half a decade living among people who eat and breathe fashion. I’ve developed T-shirt designs for artists, non-profits, and streetwear brands, and have created portfolios for stylists and photographers who work with the likes of Levi’s and Victoria’s Secret. I dunno…I don’t know as much as Gucci, but at least as much as Gucci Mane.
